Primary Focus

The BayHorse Foundation specifically works within the applicable Tribal jurisdiction and Tribal, federal and state laws to assist Tribal leaders and individual families organize and acquire funding and training resources to further utilize their ancestral homelands in protecting and developing their water resources and dependent ecosystems for healthy and beneficial uses. In light of current social, financial, educational and political realities, we recognize the need to develop and utilize technical and legal resources that will enable indigenous families who may or may not be Tribal members to further develop healthy and self-sustaining culturally based communities within the applicable Tribal jurisdiction.
